We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person with a passion for cider to join our Operations team as the new Supply Chain Planning Coordinator. This role plays an integral part to Cornish Orchards and within the wider Fullers business co-ordinating stock availability and ensuring we are getting our products to the right place at the right time.


Key Responsibilities:

Production Forecasting

  • Maintenance of sales forecasting system
  • Review short and long term trends to determine 4-week forward demand
  • Build and maintain relationships with sales channels to accommodate promotional activities and volume trends
  • Run and interrogate sales reports (FBI)

Production Planning

  • Create and issue weekly production plan
  • Translate forecast into demand plans for ingredients and packaging materials taking into consideration lead times and financial impacts
  • Plan ingredient and packaging material deliveries to ensure no stock issues
  • Liaise with Export team to schedule-in export demand. Re-allocate UK stock and confirm BBE dates with Export Department
  • Managing finished product inventory ensuring optimum stock levels

Logistics Planning

  • Co-ordinate haulage companies with Logistics Supervisor to ensure timely delivery of apples during pressing season
  • Co-ordinate Tanker movements
  • Liaise with Fuller's keg demand team for tanker requirements
  • Liaise with hauliers and Cidermakers to ensure timely tanker loading and delivery to Keg packaging contractors.
  • Monitor stock & Plan distribution to Marstons Warehouse for UK and export stock
  • Liaise with Purchasing Department and Logistics Team to ensure effective just-in-time management of materials
  • Monitor Duloe Keg stock and raise Transfer requests from Chiswick to CO liaising with Warehouse Supervisor~

Juice Production Planning

  • Create annual production forecasts for juice production
  • Provide timely data to Site Ops Manager and General Manager to ensure site apple purchase strategy is fit for purpose for Bittersweet, Dessert Apple & Pear fermentations, and for Apple Juice
