Louise leaves for 'Pasteurise' new

After nearly 6 years as our Quality, Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor (QEHS), Louise Hick (formerly Barriball) is leaving Cornish Orchards for pastures new moving from cider to dairy.

Today we are saying goodbye to our much-loved QEHS Supervisor Louise (Lou) as she is leaving her role at Cornish Orchards to start her new role as Technical Compliance Manager at Trewithen Dairy in Lostwithiel.

Trewithien Dairy is a family run business of Cornish dairy farmers who have turned crafters of delicious Cornish dairy products such as milk and award-winning butters, creams and yoghurts. The dairy farm is owned and run by the Clarke family who has owned Greymare Farm in the Glynn Valley since 1976 and has crafted dairy products there since 1994. Lou will be joining their growing family of 150 valued employees.

Louise has implemented several safety procedures here at Westnorth Manor farm over the years and has worked with Jo Evans to set up an employee health scheme. Lou has been a real delight to work with and her high levels of energy, organisation and attention to detail will be sorely missed by everyone here at Cornish Orchards.

We wish her the very best for the future as we know she is going to go very far in her career.
